At The Actis Ranch we breed for fertility, docility, and performance using only the best bulls for artificial insemination. The Actis Ranch started with Limousin cattle in 1983. We felt the breed provided more muscling and marbling than what was being offered at the time. By introducing Angus cattle to our herd in 1996 we improved our herd docility, performance and calf  heteroecism. Now we sell predominantly Angus cattle, however the market for our LimFlex cross is ever growing.

  • We use champion Angus beef bulls for our breeding stock.

  • Angus start at $3000 and may be put on feed until their collection in autumn.

  • LimFlex start at $2750 and may be put on feed until their collection in autumn.

  • The Actis Ranch competes at local fairs to ensure the quality of our stock, genetic conformity, range capability and conformation. It also provides the opportunity for the public to interact with our docile cattle and learn about ethical ranching processes.
